Thank you! I feel lucky that I didn’t know much about the book so everything was a big surprise for me. This ending is very tricky. It doesn’t work for the story, it’s not how books are supposed to end, it’s not what readers expect and yet I’m sure that’s exactly what would have happened had it been about real people.
