hahahaha your review cracked me up. I've never read this book, but I've seen the movie a million times; it came out when I was in high school or early college, and I remember watching it with all my dorm girlfriends at, like, 2am after coming back from frat parties, eating pizza, and then crying our eyes out because the story is just so. freaking. SAD. UGH!!!

I hate stories with unbearably tragic endings, so I have avoided Nicholas Sparks (and John Green) like the plague. I, however, didn't know about the intense Bibleness of this book (they toned it down for the movie), and that also further discourages me from ever trying to read this novel! Thanks for the warning. ;-)

However, a big UN-thank you for getting the movie's theme song by Mandy Moore stuck in my head because of this review!!! LOL.
